The Engineering & Capital Improvements Department provides survey, mapping, engineering and architectural design, and construction inspection services for City facilities as well as capital improvement and major maintenance projects within the public right of way. They plan, design, and construct facilities and improvements. The department is also responsible for processing permit applications to ensure compliance with federal, state, and City standards for work that connects to City infrastructure or within the public right of way.
